Interview with Marie Claude Iperti
Marie Claude Iperti has a passion for patchwork with a preference for the "country style".
She quilts for 20 years and has, due to her husband professional obligations, moved around France at least 10 times; since 3 years she has settled down in Milano (Italy).
Nevertheless, she continues to travel around, in France or internationally, always seeking a new idea or a new project she can share with all of us. This is why her motto “create and share” fits her so well! She attends a lot of exhibitions, organises tours in the US or elsewhere and each time the participants become her friends.
An example of her generosity is the step by step instructions she is kindly sharing with Sewn visitors on the “punch needle”, a trendy technique that can be done anywhere, in a plane, a train or a car.
Thank you Marie Claude and see you in September at the European Patchwork Meeting where you are going to have a stand under the name “Les Secrets de Marie”.
