L’Aiguille en Fête is the Parisian show not to be missed for all those who love to sew, knit, embroider or quilt.
Since its first edition in 2004, we discovered so many talented artists and so beautiful work related to thread and textile….
Again, this year, from February 9th until February 12th, at the Grande Halle de la Villette, a beautiful art nouveau building, we are sure you will enjoy superb exhibitions, a knitting championship, “a sewing bar” where within no time you will make, under the supervision of different designers, a bag or an other sewn piece that you will bring home proudly saying “I made it”!!
For those who couldn’t come to the last European Patchwork Meeting, this will be a good opportunity to discover its international quilt contest 2011. Furthermore, if you vote for your favourite quilt and write your name and email on the bulletin, you might be the lucky winner of the “Liberty” bicycle offered by Sewn. The draw will take place on Sunday. Good luck and see you there!
