Nadelwelt show - Karlsruhe (Germany)

This was the 2nd edition of this new show dedicated not only to patchwork but also to any kind of needle work, i.e. embroidery, knitting, crochet etc.,
In the congress centre located downtown Karlsruhe, there were 2 halls, one for the commercial area and one for the exhibitions.
Quilt artists or quilt art groups were exhibiting - mainly German - as well as 2 Dutch and one Swiss group (Quilt connection). Kaffee Fassett was the guest of honour and as usual very popular.
The exhibitions were a mixture of traditional and contemporary works, giving the opportunity to see different kind of creations.
The commercial area was quite big with 136 exhibitors! Some of them had organised some “walk in” workshops which was also very interesting.
Next year the event will be same place, but a month earlier – from April 26 to 28 , 2013.
